Infrastructure Program Execution
This $9m program of work, included the definition, business case justification and mobilisation of project team to deliver the following scope of works for this global accounting organisation:

Design and implementation of a SD-WAN solution including local internet breakout for all branch offices

New AV-VC solutions for offices in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Singapore

New offices established in Australia and New Zealand

Deployment of a new endpoint security product, migrating from McAfee to CrowdStrike
-
Server upgrades to eliminate EOS risks associated with Windows 2008 OS servers
All projects encompassed the management of 3rd party vendors, maintaining close working relationships with internal IT teams, and ensuring all new solutions were successfully transitioned into production.
Major change migrations were conducted to ensure impact to business operations were minimised, and no unplanned outage to services were encountered.
Global Data Centre Relocation
Completing a data centre relocation for a global mining company included the following:

Relocating a data centre from a HP facility in NSW to Equinix in VIC

Relocating a data centre from a Global Switch facility to Equinix in NSW
-
Establishing a new data centre design including L2 interstate connectivity, new internet services, and connectivity into Azure
-
Relocation of data centres was conducted over two weekends and was successfully completed without any impact to customer services

The successful completion of 17 changes over a 6-week period, with negligible schedule delays

Management of multiple vendors to complete the successful relocation
The data centre relocation enabled our customer to reduce their footprint from 4 facilities to 2, resulting in a significant reduction in operating costs, but simultaneously increasing redundancy and network performance.
Firewall UpgradE
This deployment of a Next Gen firewall platform included the following:

Migration of firewall platforms from Cisco, Juniper, and WatchGuard onto a new Palo Alto platform

Platform implementation included active DC and DR facilities

Implementation of new Azure virtual Palo Alto platform
-
Management of 3rd party vendors, and working with internal IT team
-
Firewall migration completed over 4 key migration weekends, with extensive planning conducted for the major cutovers
The consolidation of platforms has provided improved security protection, as well as simplifying support and management for the customer's internal team.
All changes were completed successfully, without unplanned outages to customer services.
